Welcome to Quinceshare! My name is Melanie Sanchez, the founder of Quinceshare. It all started with an idea: I wanted to be able to help other girls just like me. When I was going through my quinceañera, budget was always on my mind. I didn’t want my parents to spend money they didn’t have for one day. And when I saw the dress prices I just about cried. It’s a tough decision to compromise on that perfect dress that you know will make the day extra special. I needed something not too expensive that had quality fabric and made me feel like the princess I know I am. Dress after dress, I wished there was a place where I could rent a dress just for one day (@Christian Siriano *Cough *Cough). As I searched through the internet to find a dress rental, there was nothing. I decided to make Quinceshare. The place where young girls, just like you and me, can help each other through this exciting Hispanic tradition by renting dresses to one another. After spending so much money on my dress, I wanted to share it to make some other girl’s day just as special as mine was. It’s also a better than having it in my mom’s closet because we are all tired of hearing the “Ya vez tanto dinero para que, mejor ponte a trapear”. Mom I just want to nap and eat pizza...
